Job Description:
We're looking for a detail-oriented professional with expertise in API testing, PostgreSQL queries, and Azure DevOps, and a keen eye for detail to join our Fintech Company.
Responsibilities:
API Testing: Design, develop, and execute API tests using Postman to ensure the reliability and performance of our software applications. Validate API functionality, integration, and response accuracy across various scenarios.
Database Testing: Write and execute PostgreSQL queries to validate data integrity and accuracy within our databases. Analyze database structures and perform end-to-end validation of backend systems.
Azure DevOps: Manage and track work items, bugs, and test cases using Azure DevOps. Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
Test Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to functional and non-functional requirements. Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects and ensure software quality.
Bug Tracking and Resolution: Identify, doent, and track defects using issue tracking tools. Work closely with developers to resolve issues and verify fixes for continuous software improvement.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes, tools, and methodologies. Suggest and implement enhancements to improve product quality and team efficiency.
Attention to Detail: Ensure thorough testing and validation of software features, paying close attention to detail to identify potential issues.
Learning and Adaptability: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies. Demonstrate a fast learning ability to adapt to new tools and processes.
Qualifications & Requirements: Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Professional Experience:
Demonstrated experience in a Software QA Engineer or equivalent role, with a solid focus on:
API testing and validation.
Database testing to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Leveraging Azure DevOps for seamless work item tracking and test management. Technical Expertise:
API Testing: Proficient in designing and executing tests using Postman, ensuring functionality and performance.
Database Knowledge: Advanced proficiency in PostgreSQL, with the ability to write and execute complex SQL queries for in-depth database validation.
Azure DevOps: Hands-on experience in managing test cases, bugs, and workflows within Azure DevOps.
Test Automation: Familiarity with modern test automation tools and frameworks, enhancing efficiency and accuracy in the testing process. Soft Skills and Attributes:
